2026 marks a significant milestone for Takeuchi, celebrating 30 years of operations in the UK. Here at D&J Machinery Sales, we were delighted to mark the occasion with a very special visit from the President of Takeuchi Manufacturing, Mr Toshiya Takeuchi, alongside representatives from Takeuchi Japan and Takeuchi UK.
Celebrating 30 Years of Takeuchi in the UK
Since establishing its UK operations in 1996, Takeuchi has become one of the most recognisable names in construction machinery.
From compact excavators working in restricted spaces to larger machines supporting demanding construction projects, Takeuchi has developed a reputation for producing reliable, durable and high-performing equipment.
Over the past three decades, the brand has continued to evolve, introducing new models, developing technology and expanding its machinery range to meet the changing needs of the construction, utilities, landscaping and plant hire industries.

Welcoming Takeuchi to D&J Machinery
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Toshiya Takeuchi, President of Takeuchi Manufacturing, to D&J Machinery Sales.
D&J Director John Walsh welcomed Mr Takeuchi alongside members of the Takeuchi head office team from Japan and representatives from Takeuchi UK.
During their visit, the guests had the opportunity to meet members of our team, explore our facilities and take a tour of the workshop.
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work that goes on behind the scenes at D&J, from machinery sales and preparation to servicing, repairs and ongoing customer support.
A Piece of Takeuchi History – The Restored TB025
One particularly special part of the visit was the opportunity to showcase our restored Takeuchi TB025.
The TB025 is a reminder of how far construction machinery has developed over the years, while also celebrating the engineering and heritage that helped establish Takeuchi's reputation.
Seeing a piece of Takeuchi history alongside the modern machines we supply today made the occasion even more memorable.
